Thanks Andrew for sharing. I'm also in the process of adding more beats to my own music and I really like the click n cut era.

Some best albums or titles for me:

Jürgen Heckel / SOGAR > 12K

Ryoji Ikeda - data.matrix

Pan Sonic - Haiti

Alva Noto (old work)

Thanks for all these suggestions Emmanuel. Looking forward to digging in to them. Sogar and Pan Sonic are lesser known to me...seen their names but not spent time with them. Looking forward!

Also excited to hear the beat driven influences on your music. Cheers!

Thanks! Sure still working on the best merhodology either with digitakt or computer/ipad for beats.

Also from the click n cut era I have re-discovered PPOOLL suite of softwares now into a M4L device

Thank you for checking it out! I’ll have to do a deep dive on some of the sequencing tricks I do. lots of fun with parameter locking and scenes. Maybe that will be the focus of the next writing.

Most of the sounds are ones I edited myself but I also have a few favorite packs. This is probably the best one I’ve come across recently - highly recommend it! https://www.resonance-sound.com/product/sor-clicks-glitches-fx-bundle/

Hi Andrew - Thankyou for your insights - I have always enjoyed your music and I am also enjoying your substan posts. I am wondering if you can do a similar set with a digitakt as the digitakt now has a lot more extra sample manipulation features such as slicing etc .
